Bruce Mines

Bruce Mines was founded in 1846 as Canada’s first copper mine. It is possible to tour the Simpson Mine Shaft and visit the town museum to explore the history of the cute little town.

The marina offers boaters safe harbour as well as modern facilities. Boaters can walk to all amenities including the laundromat, Post Office, Royal Bank with ATM, hair salon, tourist sites, restaurants, convenience stores, pharmacy, the Legion and  the liquor and grocery stores.

We can recommend the Copper Bean Cafe for sandwiches and pastries. Bobbers Restaurant is famous for butter tarts and generous pieces of pie.
