We finally made it to Henry’s Fish Camp. This spot is famous and is a must stop just for the experience. Located on Frying Pan Island, it can only be reached by boat, float plane or helicopter. It is a must stop on most Looper itinerary.

We tried to stop here in September 2019 on our way to Michigan. It was the Tuesday after Labour Day and not only were they closed, they had started pulling the docks out. So coming back in 2020 we weren’t going to pass it by.
Once we arrived and tied up, I took the dogs for a stroll. I must admit it was a bit of a challenge. There was little in the way of flat ground, plus a lot of good solid Georgian Bay granite – nice for counter tops, not so nice for the pups.
John was chatting with a senior in the boat next door when I got back with the dogs. She was giving him detailed instructions on how to prune our basil to rejuvenate it. Glancing down, I saw she was undergoing a little rejuvenation of her own-joint in hand.
