First Stop in Midland

Launch on May 18th was uneventful. A couple of small issues, a dead generator battery and slow leak from the rudder post.

We headed off to Wye Heritage for a few days over the Victoria Day weekend. John went “down the creek” with Captain Anthony. I drove around in the Uhaul with the dogs.

Wye Heritage Resort is a nice facility with a restaurant on site. The restaurant is pub like and but the menu offers better variety and quality than the average burger and fries. A surprising number of boats on the hard, made us wonder if the boating season gets underway later here, or if covid is having a lingering effect, or maybe the fuel prices is causing a delayed start.
