Over to Penetanguishene

Short trip today around the headland between Midland and Penetanguishene. We are on our way to Hindson Marina for a few items that need attention before we begin our trip. The generator battery needs replacing as does the filter in the rancour. The rudder post and dripless seal on the drive shaft also need a look.

Hindson hauled and launched Moon Dance and were very accommodating through the fall and winter. We were originally schedule to haul out on October 6th but missed the date as we were trapped on the Trent-Severn waiting for the marine railway at Big Chute to be repaired. Hindson was able to fit us into their jammed schedule and tucked Moon Dance into heated storage on Wye River.

Chatted with a few of the local boaters and meet Richard and Therese on Red Rover, a 42 foot Nordic Tug. They plan on starting their loop later this summer.

A few hours work on Monday, then we were off to Brandys Yachting Centre to have solar panels installed.
