It is June 4th, we are boating and who would have thought boat socks and stew would be on today’s menu. But at 8 degrees and 20-30 knots of wind they help. Dogs are wearing their sweaters and I almost bought a toque at the grocery store. It was only by chanting “I am Canadian” that I was able to resist. As on of my colleagues used to say, ” Oui, mais il n’y a pas des bibites.”
Note to self, either put weather-stripping around the sliding door or park bow into the wind.
