Migration

I was escorted back from the showers this morning. A flock of Rough-winged Swallows dove and glided around me catching midges disturbed by my passing. I presume they too are heading south and were fueling up after their overnight flight.

I couldn’t get photos as they are far too fast to capture. I did get this video showing a hundred birds chattering away. Pretty magical having them fly by a couple feet away.
