Well, I’ll be a monkey’s Uncle

We are in Dayton Tennessee site of the Scopes Monkey Trial. This unassuming little town hosted this infamous trial in 1925.

Though the court house no longer sees live proceedings it still hosts a reenactment every July.

Though controversial at the time the town seems to have embraced the legacy.
