Storm Moon

Our flags stand at attention in a fresh north wind. The moon is full and sharply outlined . Stars align in unfamiliar positions. Even the stars in Orion’s arms and bow can be seen but he is directly overhead. Not laying on his side, just above the northern horizon like we see in Ontario.

Temperature will drop close to freezing tonight. The dogs will have their jackets on, the heater will run and we will be cozy beneath a down duvet.

  1. It has been unusually cooler this winter from late December and into February and we are further south than you are! However as your friend Brenda notes it is better than many places. And there is no snow to shovel. We had to cancel a boat day yesterday due to lots of gusty winds…so went for a road trip to Venice ( Florida that is). Great day for walking and poking around. No more boats till late Feb but one per week booked in March. Supply and demand issues. Many of the Freedom Club pontoon boats are sitting in the boat cemetery north of here waiting for online bid auction from salvage company…very sad to see. Safe Harbour haven’t started the dock repairs in the north harbour yet…stay warm and safe. Have your parts arrived for repair yet? The windless? Best wishes…enjoy the day❤️

    1. Windlass arrived and was installed last week. We have been waiting for weather until today. We are on the move and heading for Apalachacola.
