Was a non-event for us. The Cocoa village Marina is a nice stop with clean washrooms, showers and laundry room. It is nestled at the foot of a condo development and many of the slips are owner occupied. Therefore there are lots of rules to keep the riff-raff transient boaters in line.
The downtown area is a short walk away where there were a number of restaurant and pubs serving green beer. There is also an interesting collection of shops to browse through. Nothing striking enough to bring on board although the metal lobster Christmas ornament made me pause.
Back on the boat we enjoyed my leftover pasta (pear and gorganzolla Fioretti in white sauce) with pork piccata and caprese salad. Just before we sat down, we watched a rocket launch from nearby Cape Canaveral. Even though it was 20 kilometres away, it was possible to hear the rockets. Quiet cool!

Always interesting, especially the rocket launch!
