We are at Marineland Marina across from Marineland of Florida, near the now defunct Marineland RV park in the town known as… you guessed it, Marineland. Marketing genius!
Established in 1938 this is another of the oldest attractions in Florida. Now next door to the University of Florida research station this place has reinvented itself a number of times.

This location is the nearest we have been to the Atlantic as we are usually on the ICW side of the outer islands. It’s was great to walk the beach and see the surf.
No stop is complete without a visit to the gift shop. Funny they won’t actually sell you a dolphin. A bit hypocritical if you ask me.
