We are in our last state before returning to Canada. It’s hard to hold back and not just race to the finish. We are trying to enjoy this last leg. We have seen NYC, the harbour, Staten Island all the famous locations.
We are very much taking our boat “On the Hudson River Line”. Places like Yonkers, Peekskill, West Point, Poughkeepsie, Catskill, Coxsackie, Stuyvesant, Albany and Troy. Names that seem to be so much a part of the 21st century zeitgeist.
So here we sit at the cross roads, on the right is the Champlain Canal, to the left is the Erie Canal. We are headed up the Erie.
And we are very much in a New York state of mind.
