Hello Pelican

We arrived at Fairhope Yacht Club after crossing Mobile Bay and were greeted by this lovely Brown Pelican. This was the only opportunity for close-ups as the weather soon turned. The next three days were small craft warnings and the pelicans only flew over Moon Dance as she rocked in the swells.

Our bow thruster apparently disturbed its afternoon nap as it cocked an eye at us – hopefully not an evil eye.
